Franklyn Muise
Franklyn Ellis Muise, of East Pubnico, affectionately known
as Frankie, age 78, died September 20, 2024 in Bayside Home,
Barrington. Born in Wood’s Harbour, he was a son
of the late Zachary Simon and Leta Belle (Chetwynd) Muise.
He was a retired lobster fisherman, having fished for over 40
years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Joyce
(Goodwin) Muise, sons; Brian (Yvette), Pubnico and Shannon (Julie),
West Pubnico, grandchildren; Jeremy, Frank, Colton and Jacob, as well
as 5 great grandchildren, brothers; Roger (Leona), Anthony (Sandra),
Ricky, Mike (Sheila), Steven (Myrna) Goreham, sisters; Beulah (Colin)
d’Entremont, Martha Muise, Kathy (Ben)
d’Entremont, Shirley Wolfe and Rosie Chetwynd, a brother in
law Alvin Churchill and a sister in law Janie Muise. He was
predeceased by brothers; Carl Muise, Garth Goreham, Merle Goreham and
Osbourne Goreham, sisters; Virginia Churchill and Winifred
Conrad.
Frankie was an avid hunter and after retiring as a lobster
fisherman, went on to become a night watchman in Argyle at the Camp
Cove Wharf for 4 years. The family would like to thank the
Bayside Home and all the staff for the kind and compassionate care
shown to Frankie for the past 9 months.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in the
West Pubnico Funeral Home from 1-3pm. A private family
interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, East
Pubnico. On line condolences may be forwarded to the family

Barrington. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to West
Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West
