Obituary of Francoise Aubin
Our family has the sad task of announcing the death of Françoise (née Faucher) Aubin, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the age of 89. Beloved wife, of 47 years, of the late Raymond Aubin. Devoted mother of Ronald (Laurie) Aubin, Richard (Nicole) Aubin, Lise Aubin, Marcel (Sue) Aubin, Marc (Rena) Aubin, Natalie (Nic) Hayne and the late Maurice (Mugs) Aubin. Cherished grandmother to Melissa, Christopher, Kara, Adam, Ashley, Hope, Gabby, Wolfgang, Magenta and Gemma. Proud great-grandmother to Theryn, Tesslyn, Taylen, Blake, Brady, Pheobe, Bennett, Slade, Rhett and Nadine. Dear sister to Cécile (late Roger) Biron. Françoise will be missed by her brother-in-law Hermas Gervais and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Maurice and Laurette Faucher, and her siblings; Jeanette (Lucien) Lecompte, Aline Bouffard, Alcide (Lucienne) Faucher, Thérèse Gervais and Johnny Faucher.
Françoise’s most beloved moments were family gatherings. She would rarely turn down a shopping trip with any of the girls. A special thank you from the family to Diane, Carole, Ginette and Joanne, for their kindness.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main St., Welland on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
