at the Cornwall Hospice on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Francois Joseph Gaston Periard “Guidou” of Alexandria, age 92 years. Beloved husband of 70 years to Fleurette Periard (née Titley). Loving father of Aimé Periard (Lisa Rolfe), Nicole Brown, Suzanne Periard and Linda Campbell (Rob). Cherished grandfather of Chris (Staysea), Bob, Dennis, Nick (Destiny), Jonas (Larissa) and Aimée (Kyle) and great grandfather of Damian and Oliver. Predeceased by his parents Hermenie and Yvonne Periard (née Lebeau) and by his brothers Aimé and Arthur. The Family would like to thank Home Care and Community Living/Champlain, and all the Staff at the Cornwall Hospice for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM and on Saturday from 1 – 2 PM. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2 PM. Spring Interment in Cimitière Sacré Coeur Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Francois, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
