Passed away suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, September 22, 2023. Francine Govan of Alexandria; age 51 years. Beloved daughter of the late Dr. William Robert ‘Bob’ Govan and the late Françoise Doris Govan (née Boisvert). Caring sister of Will Govan (Dana Hamilton) of B.C. Loving Auntie of Austin and Mackenzie Govan. She will be missed by her sister-in-law, Paula McKnight. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A private interment of cremated remains in the St. Finnan’s Parish Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to encourage everyone to register at www.beadonor.ca to be an organ donor. As a Memorial to Francine a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
