Francesco Prezioso, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 74. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and countless cherished memories. Francesco was born on February 20, 1949, and spent his life surrounded by those he loved most. For 52 years, he was the beloved husband of Angela, sharing a journey filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. As a dedicated father, Francesco leaves behind a proud family: Rosanna (Daniele), Giuseppe, Paolo, and Michael (Marlene).
His role as a father extended beyond blood ties, shaping the lives of his children and instilling in them the values of family, hard work, and love. Francesco’s love extended to the next generation, as he was a doting grandfather to Domenic, Nicholas, Julian, Nevaeh, Gemma, Alison, and Nathan. His joy multiplied with the arrival of Milo, his great-grandson, bringing an extra sparkle to his eyes and warmth to his heart. Professionally, Francesco dedicated many years of his life to CN Rail, where he worked as a train conductor. His commitment to his work mirrored the dedication he showed to his family, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike.
Beyond the rails, Francesco found solace and joy in his hobbies. A passionate fisherman, he found peace by the water, casting lines and creating memories with those who shared his love for the outdoors. His love for fishing was surpassed only by his love for spending quality time with family and friends. At home, Francesco found fulfillment in his other hobby – working around the house or in the garage. Known for his craftsmanship and willingness to lend a helping hand, he enjoyed building and assisting others with their projects.
His skills were not just a reflection of his abilities but also a manifestation of his generous spirit. Francesco will be remembered not only for the marks he left on the professional and personal spheres but also for the kindness, generosity, and love that defined him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and family will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, Tel- 905-850-9500) on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day on Monday, November 27, 2023 at TIME TO BE CONFIRMED at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave, Woodbridge, ON L4L 3Y1). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St, Concord, ON L4K 1A7).
