It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Frances Grandy of Garnish, NL announces her passing. Frances passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, NL on March 5, 2024 at the age of 86. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Larry (Ethel), David (Lori), Kevin; daughter Marceda (Bernard); 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Boudreau; step-brothers, Ronald Dobbin, Lawrence Dobbin, Thomas Dobbin; good friend, Ethel Hurst; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; daughter Shirley Ann; parents, Thomas & Jenny Walters; step-brother Donald Dobbin.
The Grandy Family will be accepting visitors at Garnish United Church in Garnish, NL on:
Thursday, March 7 from 12 noon to 9:00pm
A Celebration of Life and funeral service for Frances will take place at Garnish United Church on:
Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00pm (Weather permitting, an update will be provided here Friday morning)
Interment to follow at Garnish United Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, in Frances’s memory, donations may be made to The Garnish United Church.
