Everett’s Obituary
Everett Warren Murray – 88, Tatamagouche, passed away peacefully January 7, 2023 in East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash.
Born in Wentworth, he was a son of the late Leonard and Marjorie (Little) Murray.
Everett worked in construction all of his life, finally finishing his time of work with the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and was a founding member of the Wentworth Group.
He is survived by son, Darrell; daughter, Debbie (David) Flanagan; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren as well as two great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Geneva (Matheson); sons, Darren and David ; brother, Malcolm and daughter in law, Shelley Murray.
A special thank you to the staff of East Cumberland Lodge for their care and support as well as to granddaughter, Andrea for her love and care.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21 from 2-4pm in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home, 14067 Hwy. 4, Wentworth. A Committal Service will be held in the spring in the Wentworth Cemetery.
If so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Wentworth Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
