ARVAI
Peacefully, with her loving family at her side at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Monday, January 30, 2023. Esther Arvai (David) of West Lorne in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis Arvai Sr. (2013).
Dear mother of Agnes (Steve) Simon of Rodney, Karl (Penny) of London, Mary Vergeer (John Fontaine) of Port Stanley, Susan (Dave) Lundy of Watford, Jim Arvai of West Lorne, Eva (Roger) VanRaes of West Lorne, Louis Jr. (Andrea) of West Lorne, Liz Clark of Dutton and Kathy (Ken) Ferguson of Sault Ste. Marie. Survived by many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her son in law Mike Clark (2012) and her grandson Joe Van Raes (2018). Esther, along with her husband Louis farmed in the West Elgin area for most of their lives. She was always proud of her family and always filled the home with baking and pastries.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation in Esther’s honour on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 from 12 to 2pm. A service of remembrance will follow at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Rodney cemetery.
