Obituary
Elspeth “Eppie” Bagley
1931 – 2023
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Dorothy Elspeth (Eppie) Christine (Lockerbie) Bagley, wife of the late Kenneth Bagley. Eppie passed away peacefully January 11th, 2023, at Losier Hall, Miramichi NB, at the age of 91.
Eppie was born October 24th 1931, in Napan, NB, to the late Andrew and Dorothy (Cameron) Lockerbie.
She will be greatly missed and cherished by her children: daughter, Marsha Murphy of Miramichi; and sons: Derreck (Rick) Murphy (Agnes), and Leo Murphy (Judy) of Napan. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Matthew Murphy (Krista), Amanda Murphy, Rebecca Murphy, Heather MacDonald (Ryan), Laura St.Coeur (Wade), Christine Colwell (Chris), Jesse Murphy, and Kiefer Murphy. Eppie was devoted to raising her family. Later in life, she dedicated herself to a career in nursing, including working in Oromocto, Chatham and Miramichi Hospitals. Nursing was Eppie’s passion; her caring and pleasant nature, gentle bedside manner, and her smile and laughter will be remembered fondly.
