The family of Ellen Marion Balser would like to announce her
passing in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on January 4,
2023. She was born on November 30, 1947 to the late Raymond and Vera
(Banks) Balser.
Anyone who knew Ellen knew she had a love
for Diet Pepsi, and also for watches, sometimes wearing one or more on
each wrist. She was also an active participant in the Special
Olympics.
Ellen is survived by her sister Candy (Bryant)
Crouse and her brother Robert; brother in-law Merrill McCarthy. She
was known as Aunt Ellen by numerous nephews and nieces.
She
was predeceased by sisters Carolyn, Laura, Pam and Mary; brothers
Douglas, Neil, John and Richard.
A graveside service will
be held 11am on Wednesday January 11, 2023 in Epworth United Cemetery,
New Germany with Reverend Neil McEwen officiating. Flowers will be
accepted. Memorial donations may be made to Riverview Enhanced Living,
or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the
R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where on-line condolences may be
