Obituary
Elizabeth passed peacefully away on July 9, 2023, at the Carmelite House Palliative Care Unit in Grand Falls-Windsor, surrounded by her husband Gary, family and also the Pastor from the Point of Bay Church.
Elizabeth was born to Allan Budgell and Gertrude Wall on July 19, 1958 in Botwood, NL. She married Gary Boone on June 21, 1980 and together they raised two children.
She is predeceased by her parents Allan and Gertrude Budgell, sisters Winnie Budgell, Florence Lee; father-in-law Herbert Boone; mother-in-law Gladys Boone; brother-in-law Robert Boone; sister-in-law Myrtle Oake.
She leaves to mourn her husband Gary of 43 years; sons Bradley (Allyson), Edwin (Ashley); grandchildren Ayden, Taelor, Ethan, Tyler, Alyssa; sisters Delphine (Lloyd), Goldie (Rick), Yvonne (Terry); brothers Levi (Shirley), Bax (Mary), Roy (Barb), Henry (Dorothy), Herb (Rita); brother-in-law Wayne (Denise).
Liz loved all of her children, grandchildren, sisters, and brothers dearly. She and Gary made many trips of Alberta visiting their family.
I would like to extend thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center floors 2E, 3A and the Palliative Care Unit at the Carmelite; Rex Thompson for his visits with Liz; Pastor Strickland of Point of Bay Church for visiting the last three nights, playing and singing to her. I know she loved it. Thank you to Una and Collin Harnum for giving me a place to stay when I needed it; to my Cousin Annie for the meals and all the mornings she went in to help Liz with breakfast so I could stay late into the evening; her sisters for all their help; the families that gave me meals for the last number of months while Liz was sick. I would also like to say a big thank you to anyone who helped in in anyway during this difficult time.
