It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth «Betty» Strang of Lawn announces her passing. Betty passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, June 19th, 2023, at the age of 73.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughter, Arlette Strang (Brian and his daughter, Bree) of Lawn; son, Kent Strang (Felicia) of Lawn; grandchildren, Logan, Nathaniel, Chance & Ryder; sisters, Violet Edwards of Lawn, Alice Edwards of Ontario, Margaret Farrell (Bern) of Marystown, Muriel Strang (Gary) of Lawn, Evelina Edwards of Lawn and Charlene Roul (Boyd) of Lawn; brothers, Arnold Edwards (Clara) of Saskatoon, Fred Edwards (Joan) of Lawn and Terry Edwards of Marystown; sisters-in-law, Madeline Edwards of Lawn and Christina Edwards of Point May; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Strang; son-in-law, Roger Pike; parents, Edward & Evelina Edwards; parents-in-law, George & Rosalie Strang; and brothers, Ted and Mike Edwards.
The Strang Family will be accepting visitors at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lawn on
Thursday, June 22nd
1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Friday, June 23rd, 2023
1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lawn on Monday, June 26th, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
Interment to follow at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Cemetery, Lawn.
In Betty’s memory, donations may be made to The Strang Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
