It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth «Betty» Crocker of Creston South, NL announces her passing. Elizabeth passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, NL on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the age of 97.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her children, Elizabeth Barter (Clyde) of Creston South, Jessie Farewell (Cecil) of Nova Scotia, William Crocker (Mabel) of Ontario, Peter Crocker (Florence) of Nova Scotia, Keith Crocker (Maureen) of Mount Pearl, Phyllis Birt (Dean) of PEI, Calvin Crocker (Ruby) of Ottawa, Yvonne Edwards (John) of Marystown, Barry Crocker (Theresa) of Alberta, Brenda Pittman (Alvin) of Marystwon, Dana O’Brien (Ken) of St. John’s, Derrick Crocker (Mabel) of St. John’s and Perry Crocker (Yvonne) of Creston South; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; niece, Margaret Smith (Donny) of Scotland; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, William Crocker; parents, Peter & Elizabeth McGregor; brother, Peter McGregor (Mary) and nephew, Graham McGregor.
The Crocker family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Staff at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre and a special thank you to Betty’s, most wonderful and compassionate, homecare worker, Wanda Mayo.
The Crocker Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on:
Wednesday, July 10th
10am – 12noon
2pm – 4pm
7pm – 9pm
A funeral service will take place at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Creston South on:
Thursday, July 11th at 2pm
Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Anglican Cemetery, Creston South.
In Betty’s memory in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael’s Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Creston South
