BEAUMONT, Eleanor (nee Triest) (August 21, 1947 – January 10, 2023)
It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Eleanor M. (Triest) Beaumont, at the L.H.S.C. Victoria Campus, on January 10th, 2023, at the age of 75. Eleanor will be remembered for her years of dedicated service at Johnson Controls, Tillsonburg, where she was employed as a lab technician. In her spare time, Eleanor enjoyed woodworking, sewing, crafting, scrapbooking, gardening, and baking. Above all else, she will be lovingly remembered by her family as a very supportive mother and grandmother. Lovingly remembered by her husband of over 57 years, ‘Alex’ Beaumont, of Tillsonburg. Caring mother to: Jackie (Donnie Myers), of Tillsonburg, and their sons Devin and Dylan; Jeff Beaumont, of London, and his children Alexander and Grace. Survived by her brother Norm (Pat) Triest, of Alvinston, her sister Giselle Triest-Voss (late John), of Tillsonburg, as well as by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her sister Genevieve Oke.
In keeping with Eleanor’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place following a private family viewing. A public memorial service to celebrate Eleanor’s life will be held on Monday, January 16th, 2023, at 12:30 p.m., in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, led by Chaplain Tina Dias. Friends and family are invited to attend on Monday, January 16th, between 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for visitation. Interment will take place in the Tillsonburg Cemetery Columbarium. All funeral attendees are invited to a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion, 16 Durham St., Tillsonburg, immediately following the cemetery inurnment. Everyone who knew Eleanor is welcomed to share favourite photos, letters of condolence, send flowers or contribute memorial donations to the “Canadian Cancer Society”, via Eleanor’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
