Mrs. Eleanor Rosalie Day of Makinsons, passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Mrs. Day was 86 years old.

Great Grandchildren: Isabelle, Hannah, Josie, Joshua, Elenor, Leah, Clark, Dallas, Emerson, Rhett & Christy
Siblings: Leonard (Ada), Elsie, Herbert (Helen) & Deris (Nelson)

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts on Thursday: 3-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M., Friday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Saturday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Eleanor Rosalie Day Memorial Fund. Email transfers can be sent to sladesfuneralhomenl@gmail.com, password: eleanor. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2 P.M. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Bay Roberts. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Clarke’s Beach.
