It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Egon Baktay of Apple Hill, at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria on Thursday August 8, 2024 at age of 91 years. In keeping with Egon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A private family burial will take place at later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
