Mrs. Effie Blanche Vokey of Spaniard’s Bay, passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Mrs. Vokey was 99 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving family:

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, 488 CBN Highway, Spaniard’s Bay on Monday: 3-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M., Tuesday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday: 10:30 A.M.-12 Noon. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her loving memory to Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard’s Bay.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 at 2 P.M. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard’s Bay. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Shore Road, Spaniard’s Bay.
