Edward Wayne Gallerno born October 20, 1958, peacefully passed away on November 29, 2023, with loving family by his side, he found rest after suffering from a lingering illness.
Edward is survived by children, Christy, Melanie, Joseph, Timothy, Kimberly, Charlene, Anthony, Shannon and his eight beautiful grandchildren. His father Harold Gallerno, his devoted and loving sister Deborah Cogghe (Dan) and his big brother Randy Gallerno (Jeannine). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his loving mother May Gallerno and his brother Daniel Gallerno.
Edward was raised in Port Lambton, Ontario. Although he moved away from the area for several years, he eventually made his way home and settled in the area until his passing. Edward was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends and family. He was an excellent baker and took great pride in making treats for his friends and family to enjoy. He will be remembered fondly by many.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 11:30am until the time of his service at 1pm. Ed will be laid to rest beside his mother and brother at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Lambton.
