Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Devoted wife of the late Hyman (Hy). Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Stephen Orleans, Ian Orleans, Lorne Orleans and Diana Copoloff. Cherished Bubbie of Justin, Jennifer, Rhys, and Sim Orleans. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Zelda and the late Arnold Gold, the late Florence and the late Terry Kalestein, the late Mickey and the late Mary Gold, the late Al (Boomie) Gold, the late Shirley and the late Tommy O’Brien; and sister-in-law of Marvin and Adele Orleans, the late Lily and the late Joe Abramson (Sondra Abramson). Edith will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of 6K and Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her home.
