Suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Monday, February 12, 2024, Doug Hartle of Williamsburg, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of the late Anne Hartle (nee Murphy). Loving father of Sara Hartle (Mike Landon) of Williamsburg and Matt Hartle of Williamsburg. Papa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kamryn, Joel and Justin. Dear brother of Gary Hartle of Long Sault, Ron Hartle (Evelyn) of Welland, Bob Hartle (Sharon) of Iroquois, Ken Hartle (Gwen) of Chippewa, Debbie Grimwood (Bruce) of Welland, Gail Luongo (Gerry) of Niagara Falls, Judy Piech (Mark) of Hanesville and David Hartle (Christine) of Hanesville. He was predeceased by his parents Welland and Oriette Hartle (nee Lapierre), his infant sons Scott and Andrew, his sister Joyce Foster and his brother Don Hartle. Doug will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Saturday, February 17th from 11:30 a.m. until time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. A reception will follow at Cedar Glen Golf Course. Donations to the Ottawa Civic Hospital or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
