It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Dorothy Marina Power of Spanish Room announces her passing. Dorothy passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, January 21st, 2023, at the age of 68.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband, Patrick of 45 years; son, Sherman Power (Lori) of Grand Prairie, AB; daughters, Sheri Pardy (Darrell) of Mount Pearl and Lisa Power of Spanish Room; grandchildren, Brooklyn Power, Kylie Power, Michael Pardy, Kristen Power, Luke Power and Carter Pardy; mother, Rose Fizzard of Grand le Pierre; sisters, Winnie Fizzard of Marystown, Vivian Byrne of Grand le Pierre, Eileen Hepditch of Clarenville and Shirley Hepditch of Marystown; brothers, Philip Fizzard (Emma) of St. John’s, Chesley Fizzard (Lori) of St. John’s and Harold Fizzard of St. John’s; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Dorothy was predeceased by her father, James Fizzard; sister, Paulette Pittman and baby sister, Marjorie; baby brother, Gary; and parents-in-law, Luke & Madline Power.
In honoring her wishes cremation will take place.
The Power Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Marystown on:
Thursday, January 26th
2pm – 4pm
7pm – 9pm
Friday, January 27th
10am – 12noon
Funeral Service will take place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Marystown on a date and time to be announced.
Inurnment to follow at St. John Bosco R.C. Cemetery, Spanish Room.
