SMITH, Dorothy Louise – 84, Port La Tour, passed away at Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point, on April 3, 2024. Born at East Sable River on March 2, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Kathleen (Dash) Smith. Dot enjoyed quilting and needlepoint. She is survived by her husband, Fernwood Smith; son, Todd Smith; daughter, Bridgette Penney; grandchildren, Becky, Raegan, Renee, and Dylan. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter, Mona Nickerson; and sister, Norma Smith. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. There will be no visitation or service by request. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
