PORTER, Dora Wilhelmine (nee Nancekivell) – Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on Sunday, January 15, 2023, in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Porter (2000). Loved mother of Frank (late Elaine) Porter, Elsie (late Jim) Elliott, Donald (Jean) Porter, Cecil (Helen) Porter, Rick (Pat) Porter, Robert “Bob” (Sharon) Porter, Russell (late April) Porter, Bev Porter, Mike (Dianne) Porter, Doug Porter, and Tim (Darlene) Porter. Cherished grandmother to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several great great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy (Ron) Dill. Predeceased by her sons Kevin John Leslie Porter (1957), Bill (Maureen) Porter, by a sister and several brothers. Dora was the last surviving member of her own family. Dora was a long-time member of the Family Church, Woodstock and a member for many years of a local Women’s Institute. Friends may visit with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday January 19, 2023, from 10 – 11 am, here the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am. Reception to follow. Interment will take place later in the North Embro Cemetery.
