It is with great sadness that
the family announces the death of Donna Beryl Rushton of Nasonworth,
NB, on May 25, 2023, at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital at the
age of 81.
Donna leaves behind her
partner Dale Nason; 3 sons, Keith of Halifax, NS, Kevin (Joan) and
Mark (Melanie). 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother
Stedman (Albina) of BC; sisters, Shelia (Neil) Noble, Debbie Munn,
Lela Shepard, Edith Warren and Doreen Merrett; sister-in-law Ruby
Moore as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Donna was predeceased by her
husband Ewart Rushton and her parents, 1 daughter, 2 sons, 1
granddaughter, 1 grandson, 2 great- grandsons, 2 brothers-in-law and a
sister-in-law.
One thing Donna loved most was
the outdoors. She could tell you the different birds that came to her
bird feeders. She loved doing puzzles of any kind as well as
crosswords puzzles.
We would like to thank the
nurses and doctors in both Fredericton and Saint John that helped care
for Donna over the years. A special thanks to Dialysis
Fredericton.
A visitation will be held on
Sunday May 28th, 2023, at Bishops Funeral Home,
540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB, from 2pm-5pm. The funeral Service
will be held on Monday May 29th at 2pm at
Bishops Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Matthews Officiating.
An interment in the Nasonworth Baptist Cemetery will follow
the service.
For those wishing to make a
memorial donation in Donna’s memory, the family have
suggested a donation to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
