November 6, 1940 – January 6, 2023
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the early morning of Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew. Son of the late Ellard and Beatrice (Schroeder) Heins. Beloved husband of Gail (Fabian). Delroy was the loving father of Lisa Roesner (Dean), Connie Roesler (Trevor) David Heins (Laura-Lee) and Shawn Heins (Vanessa).
He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Rachel (Aman), Amy (Luda), Joshua (Sarah), Ashley (Kurtis), Hayley, Preslie, Caeden, Ashston and his great grandchildren Thomas, Landyn, Maddi, Alistar, Avery, Jack and Noah. Delroy’s memory will never be forgotten by many nieces, nephews and his 6 God children.
He is survived by his brothers Dolton Hein (Gwen and the late Sharon), Ellwood Hein (Alanna), sisters-in-law, Mary Hein, Helen Fabian and his brother-in-law Garry Fabian. Delroy is predeceased by his brothers Iverson Hein and Ellard Hein (Shirley).
Delroy’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville where visitation will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. A brief visiting will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:30pm followed by a Funeral Service at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville at 2:00pm. Spring interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Augsburg.
