Obituary of Dawna Steen
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dawna. She passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of October 16th. Dawna was born in Winnipeg on November 1, 1968 and attended school in Windsor Park.
She will be missed by her partner Ken Escott, her mother Pat, brother Ken (Sonja), niece Selena (David) and their children Rose and Noah. She was predeceased by her father Bruce in January 2022.
Dawna was working at the St. Vital Walmart at the time of her passing and enjoyed 22 years there. Her smile and bubbly personality will be greatly missed by her colleagues. Prior to that she served as a nanny for a number of years.
Cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Donations in Dawna’s name can be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
Rest in peace dear Dawna.
