Dawn Brennan passed away peacefully at her home in Gravenhurst on Saturday, August 24, 2024, just short of her 89th birthday. After six years, Dawn has been reunited with the love of her life of 65 years, Earle Brennan.
Dawn’s memory lives on in her children Gary, David, and Jo-Anne (John McGovern). She was the cherished grandmother of Paul (Nicole), Stacey, and Jay. In later years, she had the honour of being a great-grandmother to Stella and Oaklan.
Dawn was a very family-oriented woman and an excellent wife and mother. She instilled values that are carried on by her children and their families today. Her dedication to her family was unmatched. Her family was her number one priority in everything she did.
Dawn also spent many years in the Ladies’ Auxiliary at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. She was also known for her love gardening and tending to her plants. She also had the privilege of travelling the world alongside her life-long partner, Earle. The two travelled all over the world together, but most notably to the West Indies and Bahamas, as well as embarking on many different cruises over the years. They also enjoyed many winters at their home in Sarasota, Florida.
A private family service will be held, and Dawn will be laid to rest in Mickle Memorial Cemetery in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
