Obituary of David Eugene Dorey
David Eugene Dorey, age 66 of Berwick, passed away on January 11, 2023 at home. Born on April 14, 1956, he was the son of the late Henry and Emily (Dalton) Dorey.
David worked for 40-years at Rick’s Autobody in Waterville. He relished in the time he spent with his family and his grandchildren held a very special place in his heart. David loved telling stories to anyone, even if it was the first time you met him.
David is survived by loving wife, Lisa; son, James; daughter, Emily; grandchildren, Desmond, Brooke, Autumn and Jasper; sisters Terry (Mike) Wamboldt, Kathy Dorey (Newell), and Donna Dorey (Derek Visser); as well as many neices and nephews. In addition, he will be missed by Marissa, Sadie, Colton and Jason, with whom he shared a special bond.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brothers, Kevin and Lawrence.
A Visitation will take place on January 27, 2023 from 6 – 8:30 pm and a Funeral Service will be held on January 28, 2023 at 1 pm, both in the Serenity Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
