David Patrick LeBlanc – 76, Malagash, passed away peacefully at home on October 5, 2023. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Meighan and Bella (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
He is survived by children, Krista LeBlanc, Toronto, Danielle (Matt) McClement, Halifax; granddaughter, Ava, who was his pride and joy; mother of his children, Gail (Findlay) LeBlanc, Halifax; sister-in-law, Mary LeBlanc, Lower Sackville; companion, Marianne (MacLean) Brown. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his brothers, Roy, Alvery, George and John.
David began his career with the Halifax Police Department beginning in September 1968 until his retirement. He was a member of the Malagash Legion Br. 97 and the Malagash Community Hall. There will be no services at this time. Donations in his memory may be made to the Malagash Legion Br. 97 or to the Malagash Community Hall.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
