David Dean Obituary
February 8, 1968 – January 3, 2024
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of David Dean of Trenton, On
Wednesday January 3, 2024, at the age of 55 years.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rhonda, his 2 cherished daughters Journee and Jailyn, his
mother Patience (stepfather Duane), in-laws Ronald and Margaret DeCoff 4 step sons Daniel DeCoff (
deceased) , Joshua Mahabir, Deen (Jessica) Abdulla, and Malik ( Ivy) Abdulla, and 2 step grandchildren,
Darius DeCoff and Raigen Abdulla, as well his many cousins, family members and friends.
David was born in Montreal and raised in Toronto, with family roots in Ottawa (the Bond Family –
Steven, Alison, Julia and Hugh Smith) in the U.K. (the Miles family) and in Nova Scotia (the Mantley
Family). David was committed to his family and his countless friends and was looked up to by so many.
He was a fantastic person that found his way and we were all fortunate to have been a part of his
journey. The memories are endless, such is the reason we are feeling the grief today and for days to
come. Oh, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention his love of football and the Buffalo Bills!
We will miss his confident personality, his smile, his laughter, his bear hugs and his passion for life.
David accepted what is, he said thank you for everything and he had no complaints. He is an inspiration!
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at a later date.
