Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of David on August 4, 2024. Loved and special son of Glenn and the late Ginette. Older brother to Jeff, Uncle to little Ginette, brother in law to Jessica and bonus son to Cathy. David was known to be a kind, polite and determined man.
David was born with many challenges. He was legally blind, and had seizures and other issues. He was a playful, happy kid, he enjoyed school and loved playing with his little brother, riding bikes and being outdoors.
Forever a 12 year old, David loved action games, WWF and sports. Even with very limited vision, David was able to navigate the city of Hamilton independently using public transit and walking for miles with his trusty white cane.
David loved his family, and was known to say he “just wanted to be a good uncle” to his little niece Ginette. Jeff spent his life being a big brother to his big brother, faithfully supporting him.
David was blessed to have a special, lifelong friend and advocate in Brian, who was there for him for over 30 years.
