Darrol Price
Anderson of Magundy NB passed away peacefully on Friday July
21st, 2023, at Hospice Fredericton with his
wife/best friend at his side. Born December 13th,
1941, in Fredericton NB, he was the son of the late Aubrey
and Carrie (Mills)
Anderson.
A hard worker all
his life, he owned and operated D&A Contractors Ltd, from 1986
until his retirement a few years ago. He was a lifetime member of the
Local 325 United Association of Plumbers and Pipe
Fitters.
Always the life of
the party, you knew when he was around because of his loud voice and
laughter. He enjoyed the outdoors to the fullest and loved to hunt,
fish, snowmobile, and most of all driving his side by side. He went on
many trips and day outings enjoying all the company. When his nieces
Jackie and Natalie joined him, you were sure to have a great time and
many laughs were had. Also, special friends Davis & Anne
joined him on many
occasions.
An avid
softball player for many years into his seventies, he even coached in
the years that followed as well as being a member of the
Men’s Bowling League in
Harvey.
Darrol is survived
by his wife of thirty years Laurie (King) Anderson, daughters Dakota
Ann Price Anderson (Lucas Maschesano) at home and Tallie and Richard
Bovin and their children; Maddi Westt and Liana of Texas USA,
granddaughter Shawna Chase and her children Bowen and Tori as well as
grandson Kyle Anderson.
Also survived by
special nieces Natalie and Jackie plus Hayley and Bridgette, plus
nephews Terry and Timmy, special great nieces and great nephews,
sister in law Mavis Greer, brother-in-law Peter King and Dawn King,
sister-in-law Krista King and Rodney Strong, chosen son Calvin Hansen
and Lori and their children Trusten and Hayden and their family.
Special friends Mark & Sheila MacDonald, Gene and Barb Hoyt
and Dave Biggar.
Besides his
parents, he was predeceased by two sons Lance and Shawn, brothers
Harvey, Junior, Lance and a special friend Jordan
Brewer.
It was
Darrol’s request that he have no visitation or funeral
service. However, a celebration of life will take place at Darrol
& Laurie’s residence 1128 Route 635 in Magundy on
Saturday, July 29th at 2PM. «No tears

story»
For those who wish,
the family has strongly suggested memorial contributions to Hospice
House Fredericton.
Bishop’s
Funeral Home & Crematorium 540 Woodstock Road have been
entrusted with the arrangements.
