Obituary of Darrel Thomas Murray
After a valiant battle with cancer, Darrel passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Donna (Deadman). Loving father of Kristy and Mark (Lindsay). Cherished grandfather of Austin, Skylar, Tristan, Mark Jr. and Olivia. Dear brother of James (Beth), Douglas (Marie), and brother-in-law of Terry Scott (Bob), Linda Ross (John dec.)
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Ethel.
Darrel was an avid baseball fan and was a “Beloved Coach of Baseball “to the Stoney Creek 1812 Team. Special thanks to the Staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their compassionate care.
Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday, December 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 17th at 11 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
