Obituary of Darrell Ricketson
It is with great sadness that the family of Darrell Arthur Ricketson of Hatfield Point, NB announce his passing which occurred on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB. Born in Sus NB, on March 13, 1961 he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Grady) Ricketson.
Darrell will be greatly missed by his companion, Karen Munroe; his brothers Bruce and Cathy from Sus and Stephen and Rose from Norton; nieces: Amanda (Shane), Bethany and Connie (Lucas); nephews: Christopher (Karmin) and Jordan; as well as aunts, uncles and great nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 3 to 5pm and 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of Darrell’s life will be held at Sherwood’s Chapel September 8 at 10:00am. Interment will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Darrell may be made to the Living Memorial or the charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through sherwoodsfuneralhome.com
