Daniella (Djuze) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Jon. Daniella was an incredible and devoted mother to her two sons, Yossi and Boaz. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Majlinda, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joel and Bernice, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stuart and Shaindie, Jon’s uncle and aunt, Joe and Wendy Katz, her aunts and uncles, Hatixhe, Fatime, Servete, Sibe, Cuf, Halil, Vace, Tixhe, Eddie, Besnik, by her many cousins, as well as by Grandma Naslije.
Daniella was a sweet soul who quietly loved those in her life with all her heart. She surrounded herself with a close circle of friends and family who were each very special to her. Thank you to Dr. Michael Palumbo, Dr. Thomas de Gabory and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their passionate care.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Israel Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her home, 7381B Kildare Rd., Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m., and Sunday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Shacharit at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, Mincha/Ma’ariv at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Due to the advent of Passover, shiva ends Sunday evening.
