In Loving Memory of Daniel “Dan” James Durham
(Long-time Resident of Bobcaygeon, Ontario and formerly of Brantford, Ontario.
Passed away peacefully, in his sleep, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Monday, December 11, 2023 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of Marianne “Marnie” Elizabeth Durham (nee White), Dear father of Gerald “Gerry” Durham (Shelley Harrington) and Shawn (Teresa) Durham. Loving grandpa of Nathan (Abby), Elizabeth (David), Evelyn (Jake), Jessie and Jake. Dear brother of Edwin and Mary, predeceased by Ross, Dorothy, Duffy, Norma, Roy and Gerald. Dan is lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Dan was born and raised on the family farm in Harrisburg, Ontario. Dan was a proud descendant of the United Empire Loyalists Association of Canada. He spent his life working as a “Cat Skinner” Bulldozer Operator and was a proud family man who was in touch with his family heritage.
Dan has been cremated and a Private Family Interment will be held at the Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon in the Spring of 2024.
