It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Daisy George of Creston South formerly of Harcourt announces her passing. Daisy passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at the age of 76.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sisters, Judy Strong (Ronald) of Harcourt, Margaret Wood of Harcourt and Kathy Wiscombe (Larry) of Creston South; brothers, Arthur George (Christine) of Shoal Harbour, Roy George (Hazel) of Bellville, ON, Winston George (Brenda) of Mississauga, ON, Randy George (Christine) of Georges Brook and Scott George (Kerri) of Munroe; special nephew, Tyler Wiscombe of Creston South; plus a large number of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Daisy was predeceased by her parents, Norman & Inez George; sister, Myrtle Beaver; and special friend, Elsie Wiscombe.
The George Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on
Friday, December 8th
2pm to 4pm
7pm to 9pm
Funeral Service will take place at the Salvation Army Faith & Hope Corps, Creston South on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Inurnment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Creston South.
In Daisy’s memory, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Faith & Hope Corps, Creston South or flowers gratefully accepted.
