In retirement, Joyce experienced epic trip adventures with Bert while travelling the world and making new friends everywhere she went.
Not only did she enjoy travel but she also loved football, spending time in nature and aquafit with her pool friends at Carling Heights.
Joyce touched many lives as a social worker in Palliative Care at Victoria Hospital, the very same place where her former colleague, Dr. Gil Schreier, and his team took very special and compassionate care of her until her passing.
A celebration of her beautiful life will begin with an inurnment at Woodland Cemetery at 1:30pm on Friday, October 11th followed by a gathering at Joyce’s favourite place, Katie’s Kitchen, 1180 Oxford Street East, London at 2:30pm.
