BROOKS, CYRIL LENARD “Cy” – June 27, 1928 ~ November 7, 2023. It is with great sadness we announce that Cy passed away peacefully, with his daughter Susan by his side at Niagara Health St. Catharines, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 95. Cherished father of Carolynne (Carl) Mann, Susan Frederick and Sandra (Deb) Brooks. Stepfather to Jeff Winnard. Loving Grandfather to David (Jen) DeJong, Patricia (Chris) Sheehan, Courtney (Tom) Podolak and Brian (Stephanie) Frederick Jr. Great-Grandfather to seven. Son of the late Ethel and George Brooks of Nova Scotia. Cyril worked for Foster Wheeler for 40 years, retiring in 1993. He played bagpipes in the St. Catharines Pipe band and enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home Chapel. Cy will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to CNIB would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at www.Bocchinfuosfh.com
