It is with sadness that we announce the passing of
Courtney Claude Tower, 82, of Sackville,
and formerly of Johnson’s Mills, NB, at the Drew Nursing Home on
Tuesday, May 9, 2023 with his loving wife, Gail, by his
side. Born in Sackville, NB, Courtney was a son of the late
Claude Tower.
Courtney was a skilled Jack Of All Trades, there was
nothing he couldn’t accomplish. He was always willing to lend a hand
to anyone in need. Courtney had a good sense of humour,
always had a joke and a smile for everyone, and was a great listener.
He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and
grandchildren and will be dearly missed.
Courtney is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gail
(Thompson), Sackville; his children, Courtney Jr. (Lorelei), Nappan,
NS, Bradley, Moncton, and Tammy, Moncton; three grandchildren,
Courtnay, Scott, and Jacob, as well as two great grandchildren, Jadyn
and Owen.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude
to the staff of the Fundy Unit of the Drew Nursing Home, with an extra
special thank you to Keanne and Ruby for their compassion and care for
Courtney during his stay.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street,
Sackville (506) 364-1300. Honouring Courtney’s wishes,
cremation has taken place and there is to be no visitation or
services.
Donations in Courtney’s memory may be made to a
charity of the donor’s choice.
