VINK, Corrie – Passed away peacefully at VON Sakura House on Sunday, May 7, 2023 with her husband Bill by her side at the age of 78.
Beloved wife and best friend of Bill Vink for 69 years. Loving mother to Dave (Alison) Vink, Paul (Janice) Vink and Nancy Vink. Cherished Oma of Jonathan (Brittany), Christopher, Jeffrey, Alex (Alaina), Alyssa (Jonathan), Ryan (Amanda), Ashton, Ainsley and step Oma to Evangeline and Anneliese. Great-Oma to Jack, Caleb, Emmett, Kees and Bennett. Dear sister to Nick (late Betty), John (late Mary) (Nellie), Bill (Pat), Betsy (Terry), Joe (Joze), late Mary (Ted) (Annie), late Piet (Linda), late Anne and Harry, late Teresa and Jack, late Fr. Paul and late Jim and Cora. Corrie will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents John and Cornelia (nee Blonk) Vernooy.
The family will welcome visitors at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 4 pm- 7 pm.
Prayers will be said at 5 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON followed by interment in the Innerkip Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF)-London Regional Cancer Program for Breast Cancer Research or VON Sakura House. Personal condolences may be sent at www.smithleroy.com
