It is with great sadness and many tears that we announce the passing of Claudette Louise Paquette, who was called home to be with her beloved husband Albert on Friday April 7, 2023, at the age of 75 at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital. Claudette was a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew her, and Heaven has gained another amazing angel to watch over us all.
Claudette was a devoted mother to her sons Alexander (Jennifer), Michael (Colleen) and Jimmy, and a cherished grandmother to Christopher Darch (Natasha), Melissa Buck (Jordan), and Kevin Paquette (Brittany). Her great-grandchildren Grace, Anastacia, Jaxon, Karter, Aurora, and Marion brought her immense joy, and she was proud to watch them grow and thrive.
Claudette was a dear sister to Denyse Chevrier, with whom she shared a close bond and a lifetime of cherished memories. She was also close to her brothers, Pierre, Jean Charles, and George, and her sisters Ginette and Nicolle. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Born in Quebec, to Maurice and Gisele Chevrier, she embodied respect and kindness throughout her life, and she taught everyone she met to do the same. Claudette worked as a bus driver for approximately 35 years, and she touched the lives of countless children and families throughout her career.
Claudette’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Claudette’s life and legacy. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
Claudette, you will be deeply missed by all who knew you. Your unwavering love and kindness touched the hearts of everyone you met, and you leave behind a beautiful legacy of compassion, generosity, and joy. May you rest in peace.
