Suddenly at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Tuesday March 28, 2023. Claude Rochon of Glen Robertson, at the age of 78. Beloved partner of Tracy Myers. Loving father of Laurier (Kim) and Alain (Sylvie). Proud grandfather of Patrick, Cynthia, Alyssa and Tristan. Dear brother of Michel, Richard (Suzanne), Robert, late Carole Brunet (Gilles), Claudette and Suzanne (late Napoleon). Predeceased by his parents Ovila And Pauline Rochon (née Snider). Deeply missed by Tracy’s children Sarah and Michael Nugent and many friends and extended family. Visitation will be held at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, 613-525-2772; on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 9 to 10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Basilica at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with an urn burial in the Sacré Coeur cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Claude, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
