Clark Park, a resident of Tupperville passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Copper Terrace Nursing Home in Chatham at the age of 79. Born March 4, 1944 to the late John and Madeline (nee Ruttle) Park. Clark will be remembered always by his wife of 57 years; Ann (nee Peters) Park. Loving father to Greg (Christine) Park, Alison Park, Amy Janssens and Chris Annett (Ally). Beloved grandfather to Deven, Emma, Kaitlyn, Damon and great grandpa to Calvin. Dear brother of Dan (Karen), Bobb (Claudia), Joe (Judy) and the late Harold (Carol). Son-in-law of the late Walter and Isabel Peters. Dear brother-in-law of Gay Myers and the late Gary Peters. Remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thank you to Dr. Toman and Delynne as well as the staff at Copper Terrace Nursing Home for their excellent care. His passion was being a farmer. He took great pride in caring for the land. He believed in hard work and passed this down to the next generation. As a teenager he loved baseball and started coaching at the age of 15. He continued playing and coaching for another 25 years. He was an avid tractor puller and a member and supporter of the Tupperville Athletics Association for many years as well as serving on Chatham Township Council for 1 term as a councilor. He was a seed corn dealer for many years. Because he loved cattle, he had a small herd of Longhorns as a hobby in his midlife. He followed his children and grandchildren in all their sporting and other endeavors. He will be remembered as fun-loving and a big tease. Private funeral services have been entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. He will be laid to rest beside his family at Dresden Cemetery.
