It is with heavy hearts that the family of Christopher announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the age of 36 years. Christopher was the beloved son of Michel and Linda (nee Gauthier) Boutin and the loving brother to Mitchel Boutin (Mel), and Britney Boutin (Phil). Cherished Grandson of Guy and Huguette Boutin, Marie-Rose Gauthier and the late Jean Claude Gauthier. Chris was the loving nephew of Joanne Boutin, Dennis and Diane Willard, Terry and Nat Desmarais and Sylvie Gauthier. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many of his cousins and numerous other relatives.
Christopher attended École Secondaire Catholique Algonquin where he filled the hallways with his infectious smile, shenanigans and laughter. Chris then went on to graduate from the Electrical Techniques Course at Canadore College where he continued to make friends, and blaze trails of memories. He realized his goals when he obtained and completed an Electrical Apprenticeship with Miller Group in New Liskeard, Ontario. His life of adventure continued in Western Canada where he worked as a licensed electrician in the potash mines in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.
Christopher’s love of being around family drew him back to Ontario where he established Crimana Power Corp., a commercial electric company specializing in mining. Christopher was a Master Electrician, most often working in Kirkland Lake Ontario where he provided professional service to clients in the surrounding area.

The family will receive visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm. A memorial service will follow in the McGuinty Funeral Home chapel at 2 pm.
