Passed peacefully away at his residence in Riverhead, Harbour Grace on July 8, 2024, Cecil Clarke of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 66 years.
Predeceased by parents: Clyde and Mabel.
Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 30 years: Rose; daughter: Melissa Clarke; son: Rene; step-daughter: Joann Mercer (Kerri Snow); step-sons: Philip (Lynette) Mercer, Wally (Joanne) Mercer, Kenneth (Barb) Mercer, and Toby (Tracy) Mercer; 3 grandchildren; brother: Clyde (Ruby Drover); sisters: Lynette (Charlie) Gammon, Judy (Harold) Rose, and Marilyn (Pat) Galway; sisters-in-law: Marilyn Sommers and Dorothy (John-deceased) Lynch; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, July 10 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 11 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace.
Cremation will take place and burial to be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Food Bank, 100 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
