of Arthur passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Laird More for 35 years. Dear mother of Jeff Mainland of Toronto, Christine and Chris Bell of Palmerston, Erica and Wayne Dyce of Fergus, the late Darren (2018) and Pam More of Palmerston and Braden More of Kitchener. Loving granny of Drew, Claire, Russel, Spencer, Troy, Quinn, Jordy, Daphnie, Clayton and Jasper. Sister of Pauline and Sean Rea of Guelph, Richard and Christine Wright of Guelph, Grant and Linda Wright of Sooke. B.C. and Janet Wright and Ralph Lynn of Midland. Sister-in-law of Russel and Lucy More of London, Mareea and Wayne Lindsay of Simcoe and Kathie More of England. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Wilmer and Verda Wright.
Cathy loved anything and everything to do with family. In particular, her grandchildren enriched her life immensely, whether it be sharing stories, experiences or many jokes that were between them. She will be greatly missed.
To honour Cathy’s wishes cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Rev. Ed Charlton will conduct the Funeral Service in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Arthur on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
Spring Interment Greenfield Cemetery.
As expression of sympathy donations to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Arthur, the Isaac Foundation or the Mark Preece House Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
