It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Carson Robert Warren announces his peaceful passing on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at Health Science Centre with his loving family by his side at the age of 77. Born in Margaree, he was the son of the late John and Martha (nee Short) Warren.
Carson leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 54 years, Maisie (nee Osmond) Warren. He also leaves behind his loving children, Robert (Tracy) Warren, Stacy (Derek) Smith, Troy Warren (Clara Keeping) and Jeremy Warren (Melissa Hicks), his grandchildren, Robert Brown, Warren Smith, Zack Warren, Brooke Smith and Gabriella Warren.
Carson also leaves behind his sister, Cedella Hodder, brothers and sisters in laws, Albert (Ida) Osmond, Elias (Vicki) Osmond, Fred Carter and Stewart Short, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Claudine Warren, brother and sisters, Thomas (Myrtle) Warren, Jane Carter and Virginia Short, brother-in-law, Alex Hodder, several brothers and sisters-in-laws.
In keeping with Carson’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit St. Augustine’s Church on Monday, October 8th, from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow on Tuesday, October 9th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Abbott officiating, with interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in Carson’s memory can be made to St. Augustine’s Church.
