Caroline Erna Anker was born January 26, 1938 in Edmonton, Alberta. She passed away March 25, 2024 peacefully after dealing with her courageous battle with cancer at the Mel Miller Hospice Unit 9Y (General Hospital).
She is survived by her brothers, Rubin Seidlitz and Edwin Seidlitz. She is also survived by her loving niece Jane (Jason) Smith and nephew, Wayne (Cheryl) Libich; niece Debbie Wiebe, nephew Dean Seidlitz; sister-in-law Roxanne & nephews Rob, Dalton, Kevin Regan, and 14 combined Great nieces & nephews also 7 combined Great, Great nieces & nephews. Also so many great friends that were considered to be some of her closest family.
Predeceased by her husband, Peter Anker (2000), parents, Lydia Seidlitz (1996) and August Seidlitz (1984) Siblings; Sister Louise Libich (2022) brother-in-law Alex Libich (2009); brother, Arnold “Barry Regan” (2017); sister, baby Ruth Seidlitz (1939) sisters-in-laws, Mildred Seidlitz (2014), Agnes Seidlitz (2011).
A special thank you to Dr. Mustafa Mami as well as all the doctors and nurses that supported her in her fight for enjoyment of life. We would also like to give a very big thanks to the special friends that made her life so enjoyable.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday May 25, 2024 at 1:00pm at Sherwood Park Senior Centre which is located at 50A Spruce Ave, Sherwood Park, AB T8A 2G6
