Carol Barbara (Hendsbee) Murphy, 76, of Half Island Cove, passed away on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 after her battle with cancer.
She was born on November 21, 1947. She is survived by her brother Wendell (Martina) and her three children Dwayne (Patricia), David (Jackie), and Heidi; Grandchildren Raven, Shawn, Devon, Jeffrey, Courtney, Robin, Haleigh & Marissa; Great-Grandchildren Jeremy, Ava, Jaxon, Liam, Aliyah, Kinsley & Harper.
She was predeceased by her husband Arnold; youngest son, Shawn, and her brother Mert.
Carol was well known first as Mom, always having an open door for anyone who came along and always had a yard full of kids playing. Then came along Nanny or Nanny Carol from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and was often baking sweets with her grandchildren.
Upon Carol’s request there will be no services at this time. Memorial donations can be made to the Bayview Cemetery.
